Maria is a PhD Candidate in Dr. Stacy Frazier’s lab, Nurturing All Families through Advances in Services Innovation. She holds two MS degrees in Biostatistics from the University of Miami (UM) Miller School of Medicine as well as Clinical Psychology from FIU. In 2019, she was awarded the prestigious McKnight fellowship. Her PhD is in Applied Social & Cultural Science, where her work understands and transforms the social and cultural systems in which humans interact.
